Countdown timer

Countdown Timers allows you to quickly and easily add a real-time countdown bar to create urgency and increase sales. A countdown timer also makes sure customers know about your promotions and get them to the checkout faster and is great to commuincate the following;

• Flash sales

• Holiday sales

• Upcoming promotions

• Product launches

• Shipping deadlines

• Shipping cut-off times

Getting Started

• Go to Online store → Theme → Customise

• By default, you will see you predefined list of sections

• To add the Countdown timer section, scroll to the bottom of the panel and Add section

By default, onboarding/placeholder info will be displayed. Now we can configure the following settings.

• Change the background and text colors using the color picker

• Change the countdown end date of when your offer/promotion/sale will expire

• Adjust the text that appears at the beginning of the end date

The date must be written in 24hr format - eg 'Sep 30, 2023 23:59:59'

You can hide this section, by hovering over the title of section itself in the section panel until you see an eye symbol.

Click on this icon to hide the visibility of the section, then save your changes. Customers will no longer see the countdown timer until the eye symbol is unchecked.
